During our Art classes the 5-year old kids got to know the peculiar works of art made by a 16th century Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo. We admired and analysed his paintings (which you can see again here: https://www.giuseppe-arcimboldo.org/biography.html) and later on we put our invisible painter’s hat and got ourselves to work. Our task was to create faces or figures using only the classroom material we had at hand, namely pens, pencils, crayons, scissors, rubbers and sharpeners. That was so much fun! Our Arcimboldos turned out to be very creative and, like all works of art, UNIQUE.
