1st Term NATURAL SCIENCE TASKS 20-21

1st PRIMARY

This term in Natural Science we have studied the four main food groups, for this reason we have made a poster with these four food groups.

 

 

2nd PRIMARY 

This term, the 2nd of Primary students have been learning about Food and health. Now they are able to classify foods according to their origin, learn what different foods give us and to locate the food groups in the food pyramid. For their final task the did a food pyramid as is it shown in the picture below.

3rd PRIMARY

OUR FOOD WHEEL

In this term, we have studied food and health. In order to review the different types of nutrients we eat every day, we designed a super food wheel. It was very funny to draw all the food and to learn all together the examples in each food group.

4th Primary

During this term , in Natural Science we´ve been working with the senses and sensitivity, discovering how important are all of them in our everyday life. At the end of the unit, we decided to learn more about how people can live having one of our senses damaged,  focusing on Braille language, from blind people and Sing Language for deaf people.

Here you can watch the result of our work learning some expresions in Sign Language and writing our names using Braille alphabet. Enjoy it!

5 th PRIMARY

During this term we have learned about the systems involved in sensitivity so the students designed a poster in order to review the systems studied in the last unit. They chose one of them and they wrote the name of the main organs and some information about their functions too.

6th PRIMARY

HOW DO OUR BODY SYSTEMS INTERACT?

We have different systems in our body such as the respiratory system, the digestive system, the excretory system and the circulatory system. Every system has important functions and they work together to keep our body functioning correctly. 6th Primary students have elaborated a picture for each system and the main characteristics of each one.
