2º PRIMARY – Strange animals 

You know very well how hard your kids have worked investigating a lot of very strange animals. And you know it because the excellent presentations they brought to class wouldn’t have been possible without your help and constant guidance. So, let me thank you for all you’ve done this year, it has been amazing. We have learned a lot (me, first of all) and we have had lots of fun with this project. Let’s remember together the really strange animals we have talked about, we hardly can believe some of them exist!! Try and see how many names they remember, I’m sure you’ll be surprised.

3º PRIMARY – Machines

Machines was the topic that we worked this term. We made a proyect to indetify simple and compound machines.

4º PRIMARY – How to make a kaleidoscope

Look at all the possibilities that we have found among all in class to make a kaleidoscope and see how the reflection and refraction of light works.

5º PRIMARY – Class levers

In this term we have been learning the different class levers: first, second and third class lever.  For this reason we have decided to make different machines with each one: cranes, scissors, wheelbarrows…   We enjoyed it a lot!

6º PRIMARY – Inside the machines

In this term, we have studied Energy, electricity and machines. For this reason, to investigate the main parts of machines, we have broken a alarm clock. We could see parts like gears, electronic circuits, buttons or the screem.
